- 1 cup finely chopped utashi
- 2 cubes knorr
- 3 cooking spoon palm oil
- Ash instead of potash
- 2 tbs pepper
- to taste Salt
- 4 tbs blended crayfish
- Grilled croaker fish for serving
- 1 medium sized onions
Instructions to make Abacha and grilled croaker
- Put the abacha in a bowl and pour in boiling water to make it soft. This has to soak for a while.
- Put your ash in a small plate and pour in half a cup of water, allow to sit for awhile then sieve it into the bowl you will use for the abacha.(make sure you use the tiny sieve)
- In the bowl put your red oil, mix till you get this thick consistency, then pour in your crayfish, pepper, knorr and utashi leaf.
- Mix very well then add the abacha ie after straining out its water. Mix very well then add oniobs and salt to taste.
- Mix till everything has tge same yellowish colour. If too thick you can add a little water and mix.
- Serve with the fish, or any garbish of choice.
